Hello and welcome,

Happy last day of January! We got through this horrid month, somehow.

This will be a monthly series where I do a little round up of my favorite things from the month. I really enjoyed doing a version of this as a gift guide back in December and it seems like a lot of you did too! So why not make this a monthly rendezvous where we meet at the end of the month where I go over all of the things I loved and used? Some of these are newly acquired, others are not. That’s the beauty of discovery — it can come from the old as much as the new!

Let’s get into it…

Paper & stationary

New personality unlocked

I am officially a leather journal girlie!!!!! Let me introduce you to my newest child:

  • Louise Carmen Roadbook. So…I initially thought I would have to wait to buy this closer to my 30th birthday, but my dear husband got me a gift card for Christmas so now I’m the proud owner of and LC Roadbook. I went with the deep plum color and a playful pink cord, plus one of their charms that reminds me of a Georgia O’Keefe painting. Aside from the heavenly leather smell, I’ve absolutely loved using this portfolio as a haven for all things writing. It currently houses: my commonplace notebook for archiving quotes and media, an everyday-ish diary, my newsletter idea notebook and a free-writing notebook for longer entries and future book ideation. On the front, I added an engraving that reads “still life” because I want to live a still life that is STILL full of LIFE!

  • Notebook charms.
